Document Procedures at the PHL Embassy in Singapore

Filipino Domestic Workers (FDWs), as a large part of the overseas Filipino workers community in most countries abroad, are subject to a number of requirements which they need to process at the Philippine Embassy for employment.

How to Process your Documents at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore

For the submission of Overseas Employment Contract (OEC), only the following entities are allowed to do so at the Philippine Embassy for processing:

  • The Employer of a worker who already possesses valid work permit under his/her name as the authorized employer.
  • The Worker with a valid work permit.
  • The most recent past employer who is re-hiring his/her previous domestic worker who’s currently in the Philippines.

General Requirements:

  1. Verification and Authentication of OEC
    • One (1) original and photocopy of the Standard Employment Contract (all pages must be affixed with the applicant’s signature)
    • One (1) original and photocopy of Undertaking of the Employer
    • Two (2) copies of the worker’s valid passport
    • Two (2) copies of the employer’s IC
    • Two (2) copies of the Letter of Guarantee for the SGD 7,000 Philippine Embassy Bond. This must be obtained from any reputable insurance company, and should be valid for two (2) years from the date of application at the Philippine Embassy.
  2. OWWA Membership and OEC Application
    • Two (2) copies of completely filled out OEC Appointment Sheet
    • Two (2) copies of the worker’s work permit
    • Two (2) copies of the worker’s valid passport
    • A copy of the Employer’s IC
    • A verified and authenticated Embassy Employment Contract (see requirements for Set I.)
  • OEC Application Only
  • A completely filled out copy of the OEC Appointment Sheet (check bmonline.ph for appointment)
  • A copy of the worker’s work permit
  • A copy of the worker’s valid passport
  • A verified and authenticated Embassy Employment Contract (see requirements for Set I.)
  • OWWA receipt
  1. OWWA Membership Only
    • A completely filled out OWWA Information Sheet
    • A copy of the worker’s work permit
    • A copy of the worker’s valid passport
    • A copy of the employer’s IC
    • A verified and authenticated Embassy Employment Contract (see requirements for Set I.) or Contract Collection Stub

Procedures:

  1. Get a queue number at the Reception Area and wait for your turn to be called.
  2. Once called, proceed to Counter 1 for the submission of documents and payment of verification fee (SGD 17).
  3. Proceed to Counter 3 for submission of OWWA Membership Form and Membership Payment (SGD 37)
  4. Payment for the Authentication of Embassy Contract (SGD 42.50) is made at Counter 6/the Cashier. Keep the Collection Stub. The stub should have the counter number which processed your transaction, as well as the date and time you availed of this service.
  5. Finally, proceed to the desk beside Counter 5 for the issuance of your PAG-IBIG number.

Note: Only Cash payment is accepted for the transactions at the Embassy.
