Welcome 2018 with a Bang at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival

If you thought the party’s over after the holidays – think again. The eighth edition of St Jerome’s Laneway Festival will send fireworks once again on Singapore shores on 27 January 2018. Head over to the Meadows at the Gardens by the Bay to catch world-class talents with the likes of singer-songwriter Mac De Marco, Slowdive and The Internet to banner the highly anticipated event.

Standard tickets are priced at $158 and at-the-gate tickets are priced at $200.

Here’s What to Expect at the 2018 St Jerome’s Laneway Festival

While the festival will be held at the Gardens by the Bay yet again, the 2018 festival line-up will be loaded with top indie artists, a total of 15 global acts, including Bonobo, Father John Misty, The Internet, Mac DeMarco, Slowdive, Sylvan Esso, The War on Drugs and Wolf Alice as well as a whole bunch of breakout performances from Amy Shark, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Aldous Harding, Billie Eilish, Loyle Carner, Moses Sumney, and the Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.


Apart from top global  indie artists, there will also be notable performances from five home-grown artists including hip-hop /dancehall icon MAS1A, indie-rock group Obedient Wives Club, alternative rock band Amateur Takes Control, singer/songwriter Tim De Cotta, and local punk-rap ace TheLionCityBoy. Regional acts coming from Malaysia (ALEXTBH), Indonesia (HEALS) and the Philippines (The Ransom Collective) will also be featured at the festival.

The Laneway Festival, which originated in Melbourne in 2004 and made its debut in Singapore at Fort Canning Park back in 2011, is an annual day-long outdoor music event. The 2017 edition held at the Gardens by the Bay in January has drawn over 10,000 music aficionados from all over the world.
