3.      Tabletop City @ the National Gallery – (Mar 30-31,  10am – 6 pm)

If you’ve been coming to the National Gallery to see art made by people who’ve had plenty of years under their belts, you might want to change it up a little and see the city and new perspectives in life from a child’s eyes.

Tabletop City is a creative playspace where the kids get to create the vision of their ideal Singapore of the future through the use of recycled materials which are all provided for on-site. What’s nice about it too is that you can see your city compound week after week from outputs of other kids and families who join the event.

Sing along to the beautiful harmonies by Vietnamese acoustic trio, 16 Second Band (16S), and take in a new kind of sound from a unique Vietnamese instrument known as Đàn đá as performed by traditional instrumentalist Thao.
