Starting December 8 2017, Marina Bay will be the new host of the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival which spans a whopping 25,000 sq. km. or approximately the size of three-and-a-half football fields occupying the Promontory and Bayfront Event Space.
In a press release last Nov. 23, the carnival representatives shared that there will be over 40 carnival rides and games which were all adopted from several European countries for every guest of all ages.

Prudential Marina Bay Carnival is set to open its doors to the public starting Dec 8
The more popular rides include The Booster Maxx, a high-velocity gyrating ride with speeds reaching up to 96 km/h in just under eight seconds, The Star Flyer, a 35-m tower ride which will take guests for an astonishing 360-degree view of the city as well as the well-loved classics such as the pirate ship ride and the Log Flume ride.
Other than the adrenaline-pumping rides, carnival-goers can also sink their teeth in over 30 carnival game booths for a chance to snag some cool plush toys for prizes. Prices for carnival rides and games range between $4 and $10.
In addition, guests can also check out performances from choice acts including hip-hop rap ace, TheLionCityBoy, electro-pop singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko, as well as pop punk local band, Falling Feathers.
Foodies will also have something to look forward to as there will be a wide variety of delectable dishes such as gourmet buns and burgers, churros, raclette, lemongrass chicken rice bowls, and chendol soft-serves available at the venue.
Mr Barnabas Chia, the organizing team lead for the carnival, said that the organizers’ vision is to let guests experience the good ‘ole days when the whole family would go out and spend an entire day at the amusement park just for the sheer fun of it.
The Prudential Marina Bay Carnival is set to open its gates on December 8, 2017 and will run until April 1, 2018. The carnival will be open daily starting 4pm until 11pm, except on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, when operation will start an hour earlier at 3pm up until 2 am.
Carnival entry is admission-free while rides and game credits can be bought on-site or online.
