First Singapore Botanic Garden Children’s Festival kicks off this November

The Festival organizers envision the children to join in a number of hands-on and relatable programs and activities that will let them learn more about nature through play, storytelling, crafts, nature walks and investigation along with some fun carnival events. One of the events in the program, the Culinary Art and Treats event, will give the children a chance to prepare and design their own appealing snacks while they learn about the importance of a healthy diet.

In addition to the above-mentioned activities, there will also be special interactive performances and meet-and-greet sessions with Lizzie the Monitor Lizard, Sunny Swan, and Speedy the Squirrel among others, not to mention outdoor movie screenings which will include The Lego Batman movie for visitors at the Eco-garden on all three Saturdays of the festival.

All programs and activities are free for the public and will be available on weekends starting Nov. 11. For a complete program guide and list of activities, click here.
