Other big names that will join the opening extravaganza at Jewel Changi are Swiss artisanal chocolatier Laderach; Singapore brand Collin’s halal western food restaurant El Fuego; sportswear giant Nike, which is gearing up to open its largest outlet in South-east Asia here to date; and finally, brewery Tiger Beer, which will be opening its first global flagship concept store Tiger Street Lab.

The Pokémon Centre at Jewel Changi is special on its own as it will be the very first permanent retail store of its kind outside of Japan. The store will put up merchandise available in Japan, as well as new exclusive items made for Jewel such as Pokémon trading cards and toy collectibles.

Fans of A&W can look forward to the brand’s signature favourites such as root beer floats, coney dogs and curly fries, with the addition of new offerings with the likes of the Japan-developed A&W cream cheese burger and Indonesia’s golden aroma chicken.

Meanwhile, Shake Shack is raring to exhibit its classic items such as the ShackBurger, Shack-cago Dog, milkshake and crinkle-cut fries, under the flagship of South Korean food-and-beverage firm, SPC Group.
