Whether it’s a major sporting event, a world tour concert, a retail expo, and the like, Singapore is one of those places where you can find many if not most of these events being held year in and year out.

That being said, the trending phenomenon from Korea known as “Hallyu” will be hitting Singapore this May for a major K-pop concert, which is sure to thrill Singaporean fans, as well as those from neighbouring countries.
HallyuPopFest Kicks Off in Singapore this May
In line with this, one of the biggest and brightest names in K-pop industry today, Super Junior, will be headlining the second edition of HallyuPopFest set to kick off this summer from May 25-26, as shared in a report by Channel News Asia.
There are a total of 15 performers expected to hit the stage on this year’s edition of the K-pop concert in Singapore. As of now, six acts have already been announced and were confirmed to perform which include A.C.E, (G)I-DLE, NU’EST, Oh My Girl and Pentagon.
Last year saw more than 20 K-pop artists such as Apink, BTOB and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon taking over Singapore Indoor Stadium with exhilarating performances which K-pop fans loved.
One of the main performances to look forward to at this year’s edition of the HallyuPopFest would be of Super Junior’s.
The powerful boy group, which debuted back in 2005 with 13 members, remains to be one of the brightest stars in the K-pop scene today after gaining international stardom with hits like ‘Sorry Sorry’ and ‘Mr. Simple’.
The group’s most active members include leader Leeteuk, actor Choi Si-won, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Heechul, Ryeowook, Shindong and Yesung. All of which have a huge fanbase not only in Korea but all over the world.
At present, ticketing details for the HallyuPopFest 2019 have not yet been announced.
