Philippine Soft Serve Desserts Chain to Open in Singapore this August

One of the main things foreigners love about the Philippines – aside from our friendly and hospitable people, is the Philippine mangoes.

In fact, foreigners coming from the Philippines’ neighbouring countries like Korea, Japan, and Singapore list the Philippine mangoes among the top 5 things they love about the Philippines. And who wouldn’t? We, Filipinos, have grown up to having this sweet treat on our dinner table for as long as we can remember – but has anyone ever felt sick or complained about it? Nope, didn’t think so.

Filipino Fruity Favourite ‘Maxi Mango’ Soon to Open in Singapore

In line with this, the Philippines’ popular soft-serve mango desserts place Maxi Mango is set to arrive in Singapore as its very first flagship outlet will open at Capitol Piazza on August 2 (Friday). So be sure to mark your calendars!

Maxi Mango started as a pop-up kiosk at local food fairs back in 2017. A brave business endeavour at the time by 33-year-old Miki and Ivan Velasquez, the couple took a huge leap of faith by investing all their savings into the business before it became the massive success that it is today.

Originating from Davao, Philippines, the franchise has exploded into commercial success, as it has opened to 43 outlets all over the country in just a period of 10 months.

Maxi Mango has banked on the Philippines’ reputation for producing some of the sweetest mangoes in the world, and committed to strictly creating dessert products made with real, fresh mangoes shipped directly from Philippine soil. The sweet and juicy mangoes are a perfect complement for Maxi Mango’s soft serve – the highlight of the famous dessert. Having more than six years of experience in soft-serve creations, the couple experimented tirelessly with different ingredients and flavours until they developed the perfect dessert recipe.

To this day, the soft-serve brand is showing no signs of slowing down and is all set to take the mango craze to Singapore starting next month with its signature version of the Filipino refrigerator cake, featuring succulent mangoes from the Philippines, velvety soft serve, and crushed graham crackers.

Sweet-tooths will have one more reason to indulge in their favourite treats, especially in Singapore, where the weather is more often than not, sweltering than just plain sunny.

If you’re just as excited as we are, be sure to visit Maxi Mango’s flagship outlet on 13 Stamford Road, Unit #B2-29 Capitol Piazza starting August 2.

And to get more updates about your favourite soft-serve mango dessert, be sure to like them on their Facebook Page. Have a fruity summer!
