According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) last Sunday, Oct. 29, British royalties Prince Charles and wife, Camilla, will be visiting Singapore from Monday (Oct. 30) to Thursday to reaffirm their country’s long-standing historical and economic ties with the host country.
The said royal visit will only be the second time for Prince Charles since his last more than three decades ago and the first for his wife, Camilla.

The royal couple will be received with a ceremonial welcome at the Istana on Tuesday and attend a meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong followed by a royal dinner hosted by President Halimah Yacob.
The Royal visit will include a wreath-laying memorial ceremony to be held at the Cenotaph, a war monument located within Esplanade Park to honour the brave men who died in service during World War I and II as well as a commemorative event to pay tribute to the Royal couple by naming an orchid in their honour.
Prince Charles and wife Camilla will also grace the Harmony Centre, the National Gallery Singapore, and a Commonwealth Literacy Event in line with their advocacy and deep interest in the arts, cultural preservation and strengthening international relations, according to the MFA.
